I founded a network for giving away used items to your neighbours
Freecycle, a not for profit network launched in 2003 by Deron Beal is built for people who want to give away for free used items rather than filling up their own dustbins. The network is already active in more than 100 countries and is made up of thousands of local volunteer groups. Giving things away for free to your neighbours is a great way to strengthen community bonds, as well as reducing waste: it’s a win-win situation!
