    Avec la classe mutuelle, j’ai réinventé l’espace de la salle de classe

    Vincent Faillet a réinventé l’espace de la salle de classe. Plus de cours magistral où le prof se tient sur l’estrade et fait un cours descendant face à des élèves assis, immobiles et silencieux. Ils travaillent désormais en petits groupes, discutent, interagissent debout et s’expliquent le cours sur des tableaux accrochés tout autour de la classe. La volonté de l’enseignant est donc d’être au milieu de ses élèves qui travaillent ensemble. Forts de cette expérience de partage, ses élèves ont retrouvé le goût de l’école et le plaisir d’apprendre, chacun à son rythme.

    Quentin and Bruno, two MA students in Management and Innovation at IAE Grenoble are packing their bags for Shamengo internships with our pioneers in South Africa and Cambodia. It’s an opportunity offered each year as part of the Promising programme.

    Learn French with Shamengo and TV5 Monde

    Since June 2015, the video portraits of our pioneers have been used as educational tools on TV5 Monde sites for learning and teaching French. In 6 months, these online tools have received more than 20,000 visits from teachers and more than 120,000 visits from students.

    Our pioneer Sandra Aguebor was visited by Daniela Schadt, wife of the German President Joachim Gauck. It’s an opportunity to (re) discover this Nigerian NGO that rescues at-risk women by offering them employment.

    The Shamengo Villa at l’ISIGE – MINES-ParisTech

    Laure Ricqlès, Shamengo volunteer and ambassador, represented our association at the Je m’engage (I’m Committed) event on 14 January 2016, organized by the ISIGE (Institute of Engineering and Environmental Management) and the engineering school l’école des Mines (MINES ParisTech).

    Inspiration for budding engineers at l’Efrei

    Over 50 students from Efrei, the engineering school in computer science and digital technologies in Paris Sud, helped to construct and host the Shamengo Villa booth at the COP 21. On December 14, Catherine Berthillier was there to thank them.
