The cooperative “Fermes de Figeac” run by Pierre Lafragette brings together the efforts made by various cooperatives on the Lot which facilitate agricultural development and procurement, give technical advice (especially on animal nutrition) and make the most of natural energy resources (sun, wind, wood, methane). This agricultural cooperative project responds to many challenges such as preserving ecosystems, maintaining a form of agriculture which is full of life and providing healthy food for the region. In collaboration with Gamm vert, the cooperative also sells these regional products in order to promote the know-how of the different local producers.
