François Jaquenoud & Lo Chay

Cambodia, Madagascar, India / Phnom Penh
Innovation : Marketed / Broadcasted
This French-Cambodian duo responded with amazing speed to the challenge of providing the very poor with cheap access to potable water. The icing on the cake: this sanitation project was developed by local micro-entrepreneurs.
CONFIDENCES DE TOURNAGE

When we started filming a joint portrait of Francis and Lo, they didn’t know this reportage would to be useful to them as well. Today François uses the Shamengo video in all his presentations. It’s the quickest and most effective way to understand the ins and outs of his commitment, in 2 minutes starting now

In 1992, the United Nations declared March 22 World Water Day. Currently 800 million people lack access to safe drinking water. It’s a good time to check in with the Shamengo pioneers who are working to provide solutions to this major challenge of the 21st century.

Partnership between two Shamengo pioneers

17 December 2014
This week our pioneer Dr. Pathak is opening a new site in India for the 1001 Fontaines organization, created by Shamengo pioneers François Jacquenoud and Lo Chay. These two Shamengo initiatives have joined forces to work on a crucial project; it’s just one example of the synergies generated within our diverse and innovative community.

Students are inspired by Shamengo !

11 April 2014
Some of the students from the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises de Grenoble, one of the seven universities that are part of our program partnership ‘promising’, were visibly inspired by Shamengo, and in particular by our pioneers François and Lo… We were lucky enough to receive the montage they made on our mail box last night ! Congrats to all of you !
