I transform parasails into party dresses

Valérie Pache

France / Chamonix
Innovation : Marketed / Broadcasted
It was by sheer chance that this Savoy stylist found hereself one morning with a stock of recycled parasails on her hands. Loving a challenge, this mountain girl decided to tackle the unfogiving material to transform it into beautiful wedding dresses.

Behind the scenes: When Valerie sews in her living room, her dog and cats love to make a small nest in the paragliding sails that cover the entire space. She has to negotiate every square meter of fabric bit by bit before passing it through her sewing machine.
