When ancestral agricultural techniques meet with new technologies for a more performant and more resepctful food production
Precision agriculture revolves around joining ancestral agriculture and new technologies.
Teledetection is about studying each land surface: soils’ depth, potential return, mineral elements content, etc. This enables a better land management, which itself enables a higher productivity, even though lands surfaces are smaller than in ‘standard’ production.
According to the French Spatial National Research Centre, teledetection use should see an increase within the next decade.
