“Human”, the latest film by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, will be released in cinemas on September 12. In this documentary, the photographer and filmmaker records conversations with anynonymous people about the human condition and the meaning of life.

It took a year to select and edit dozens of testimonies. More than 2,000 people responded to the same set of questions, filmed in close-up, on black background, facing the camera. The interview sequences are punctuated by aerial shots throughout the film.

For those who can’t make it to theatres, France 2 will be broadcasting the documentary at the end of September.
