Palaces in the sky

13 August 2014
To provide a new travel experience, architects imagined flying palaces in the sky, inflated with hydrogen. After the bunker and Boeing reformed into hotels, here's Air Cruise!
Caring for the mind and body

Green initiatives in the hotel industry are numerous. We filmed Oscar Dios and the Riklin brothers, who managed to turn a bunker and a Boeing into hotels, respectively. An even crazier idea emerged from the mind of a British architect, who designed flying palaces.

The Air Cruise is both a social and ecological initiative, as it would release cities while working in harmony with the nature thanks to hydrogen balloons.

For now, the construction of this unusual building still faces the cost of hydrogen. But the advent of these floating hotels is only a matter of time. Mind-blowing!
